Pastor’s Message: December10, 2023

Dear Parishioners,

On this second Sunday in Advnet we are reminded of the importance of preparing our hearts and minds for the coming of Jesus. In the Gospel, we hear the voice of John the Baptist, who calls us to make straight the paths of our lives and prepare the way for the Lord. This is a message of repentance and transformation.

John the Baptist reminds us of the importance of preparing ourselves for the coming of Christ. During this season, we are called to reflect on our lives and make necessary changes to become better versions of ourselves. As we light the second candle on our Advent wreath, we are reminded of the hope and peace that Christ brings to our lives. This is a time for us to renew our faith and trust in God, and to share His love with others.

We, too, are called upon to prepare a way for the Lord. Like John the Baptist, we are messengers in service to One who is greater than we are. Let us ask ourselves how we can make room for Jesus in our lives and hearts, and how we can share his love and grace with others. May this season of Advent be a time of renewal and conversion for all of us.

Let us take this opportunity to pray for strength and guidance as we continue on our journey towards Christmas.

Pray for Peace!
God Bless you,
Fr. Cyrus
