Pastor’s Message: December 17, 2023

Dear Parishioners,

Today’s gospel reminds us of the importance of preparing for the coming of the Lord. John the Baptist is preaching and baptizing in order to prepare the way for someone else. He is not the messiah, but rather a witness to the light that is to come.

As we continue our Advent journey, we too are called to prepare for the coming of the Lord. We are called to be witnesses to the light of Christ.

Let us take this time to reflect on how we can prepare ourselves for the coming of the Lord. Let us strive to be like John the Baptist, boldly proclaiming the good news and preparing hearts for the one who is to come. May we all be filled with hope and joy as we await the coming of our savior.

Pray for Peace!
God Bless you,
Fr. Cyrus
