The Sacrament of Confirmation

Confirmation is a Sacrament of Initiation and completes Baptism.  The gifts of the Holy Spirit are increased to provide the strength to live out God’s call to serve the Church in various ways, especially through faithful witness.

Our mission is to guide students into a lasting relationship with Christ and His Church, foster strong Catholic identity, and make disciples of Christ.

The goal of our Confirmation Preparation Program is to nurture, enhance, and deepen the spirituality of our youth through the formation process. We will be using a variety of program components, which will help, lead our students through an understanding of the teachings of the Catholic Church, the Sacrament of Confirmation, and the mission that we are all called to live daily.

Through this experiential process (family Masses, classes, retreats, guest speakers, parish and Youth Ministry fellowship, service, small-group discussion and collaboration with our neighboring parishes St. Francis and St. Luke, it will allow teens to experience a deepening in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

In addition, opportunities for parent and sponsor involvement are an integral part of the preparation process of our youth.

Please Note! This year grade 7 & 8 students will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Spring of 2024.
