Adult Choir – provides sacred music every Sunday morning at 10:30 mass from Sept. to June. Adult Servers for Funerals - assists the priest at funerals masses. Altar/Sacristy Care - This ministry serves the parish by caring for the altar and sacristy areas. Altar Servers – Boys and girls in grades 4 thru 12 are trained as altar servers for liturgies. Children Proclaim the Word – Help schedule and prepare children to read at Sunday 9:00am Liturgy High School (Gr.9-12) & Middle School (Gr.6-8) Youth Ministry – explores the Word, has fun, shares friendship and provides service. Adoration & Rosary – First Saturday of the month 8:00am – 8:30am (following the 7:30am mass) and every Saturday during May and October. Book Club – All are invited and welcome to enjoy reading and discussion of various books. It is an informal, informative and friendly gathering. Eucharistic Ministers – help distribute the body & blood of Christ at mass. Silent Adoration - on Mondays & Wednesdays 8:00am – 5:00pm Family Life Committee – facilitates activities/events to foster and enhance spiritual, educational, & social life of our families. Food Closet – assist the Director with organizing and distributing non-perishable foods. The parish provides for local families who are hungry and in need. Helping Hands Ministry - helps when needed for any parish event. Knights of Columbus Council 3688 - meets the second Tuesday of the month. Readers – Adult and children who proclaim the Word at all masses. Liturgical Decorating Committee - assists in decorating the church for special occasions. Bereavement - All are welcome to join us Wednesdays, 3:30pm to 5:00pm in Roncalli Building Mary’s Mantle Ministry – Those who knit and/or crochet or want to learn gather to make items for many different needs. Parish Prayer Network - Praying via phone message and internet on a daily basis. Religious Education Catechists – to teach on Sunday or Tuesday Pre-K4 thru Grade 8. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) – Help prepare adults on their faith journey as they seek membership in our church. St. Matthew Club – Provides five teams of three parishioners to count and record mass offertory collections. Sunday 11:00am. Social Concerns – Meets the third Monday of the month. Facilitates the parish in works of charity in accordance with the Gospel through awareness and action. Youth Ministry – Grades 9 thru 12. Help Youth Minister evangelize our high school youth. Ushers - assist with offertory collections, security and at weekend Masses. Westport Health Care - Every Wednesday morning parishioners visit the Catholic residents at the Health Care Center leading the Rosary, a communion service, and bring communion to their rooms.
