Sick and Homebound Visitation
We are a parish family. The priests and laity who bring Holy Communion are delighted to share with you the Body of Christ. If one of the priests visits, he can also share Sacramental Absolution and the Sacrament of the Anointing of Sick (Holy Oils).
When you or a family member is sick at home, whether for a short period, home with a chronic illness, or simply homebound, we are happy to visit. You can help us by calling the parish office 203-227-5161 so we can schedule a visit at your convenience.
The Anointing of the Sick is not just for life threatening illness but for any illness—cancer, pre-surgery, depression… The sacrament is for the sick and prays for healing. It is not Last Rites or Extreme Unction. We look forward to visiting you.
