Dear Parish Family,
The Gospel for this Sunday continues to offer lessons about God’s mercy and forgiveness.
The Sacrament of Confession reconciles us to God, it is a great source of grace, and we are encouraged to take advantage of it often. The sacrament, by its very nature, confers graces that help us to live a Christian life, we should embrace it as a gift from a loving God. I encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to experience the mercy of God as we draw closer to Easter.
In addition to our regular Saturday Confession at 4:00pm we have added two more dates to go to the Sacrament.
April 14, Holy Thursday, at 4:00pm
April 16, Holy Saturday, 3:00pm
Jesus said, “ I do not condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin any more.” John 1: 10
Next weekend we will celebrate Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord. Blessed palms will be distributed.
