For more than 40 years, the Social Concerns Ministry has been inspired and guided by St. Matthew 25:35-41: "I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Lord when did we see you hungry and feed you? When did we see you naked and clothe you? Or in prison and visit you? And the King will reply “Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine you did for me.”

In our mission to follow St. Matthew’s teaching we:

  • FEED THE HUNGRY with Thanksgiving Food Gift Cards
  • Palm Sunday Food Donations
  • Summer Food
  • Collection for Children at Risk of Hunger
  • Soup Lady Legacy
  • CLOTHE THE NAKED with coats, socks and blankets collections and the Advent Angels gifts requests.
  • COMFORT THE LONELY AND MOURNING with our Prayer Network for those needing prayers and Lenten Alms donations to comfort the poor and needy in our community.

WHO WE SERVE - by partnering with some of the local charities and organizations we are able to reach those who are in need of food, clothing, etc.

Thank you to all of the parishioners who donate throughout the year.
