Becoming Catholic is a process called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This is a process that involves the study of the Sacred Scripture, Catholic teachings, practices, and Christian morality and values. It also involves time to deepen in a life of prayer and a closer relationship with Christ and the Catholic community. Participants prepare for the reception of the sacraments and a new way of life.
