Dear Parish Family,

The Gospel tells of the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fish. The disciples see only that it is impossible to feed all the hungry people: "We have only five loaves and two fish." Jesus sees the possibility. He takes what is offered, blesses it, breaks it, and gives it away. In His hands, what seems insufficient becomes more than enough.

Jesus invites us to place whatever we have into His hands. He does not ask us to do everything. He asks us to trust Him with what we can offer.

This miracle points to the Eucharist. Each time we gather at Mass, Christ feeds us with His own Body and Blood. Strengthened by the Eucharist, we are sent out to feed others—not only with bread, but with kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and hope.

Let us be mindful of how we can love with the love of Christ. Who in our daily path is quietly longing for kindness, connection, or reassurance? A lonely neighbor, a struggling family member, or someone in need of encouragement? When we generously share what God has given us, we discover that His grace is always abundant.

Even our small offerings can become a blessing for many. Christ’s love is meant to flow — and when it flows, it multiplies.
