Dear Parishioners,
In Today’s Gospel we are reminded of the importance of being prepared for the coming of the Lord. Jesus tells the parable of the ten virgins, five of whom were wise and brought extra oil for their lamps, while the other five were foolish and did not. When the bridegroom arrived, the foolish virgins were not ready and were left outside the wedding feast. This parable teaches us that we must always be prepared for the Lord’s coming, as we do not know the day or the hour.
In our world today with all its distractions we can be easily lose sight of our faith and our relationship with God. However, we are called to be vigilant and to remain faithful, even in the midst of trials and difficulties. We must cultivate a spirit of prayer and watchfulness, always keeping our hearts and minds focused on God.
Pray for Peace!
God Bless you,
Fr. Cyrus
