Pastor’s Message: November 6, 2022

Dear Parish Family,

Today’s gospel describes the Sadducees as “those who deny that there is a resurrection”, Luke (20:27). They thought believing in the resurrection was superstitious.

We believe that life does not end when we die. When we die our lives change. God wants all people to live in happiness forever with Him. Some people choose to turn away from God.

As Catholics our hope is to live with God, not just now, but for all eternity. When we pray the Creed at Sunday Mass we profess, “I believe in the resurrection of the dead and life everlasting. Amen”  Our “Amen” means “so be it” (CCC 2856) or “I believe.”

God Bless,
Fr. Cyrus
