Pastor’s Message: May 21, 2023

Alleluia! Christ is Risen! Alleluia! Alleluia! Happy Easter!

Dear Parish Family,

In today’s Gospel Jesus prays for his disciples and all believers, praying that they may be united with him and with one another.

The Church is to be a communion on earth that mirrors the glorious union of Father, Son, and Spirit in the Trinity.

It is important for us to have a close relationship with God through prayer and the sacraments. It is through this relationship that we can experience the fullness of life that Jesus speaks, the love that the Father has for him, and he prays that this same love may be in all believers.

Jesus would pray all the time. His will for us is that we pray in all the chances and changes in our lives. This is what Jesus wants for all of us, to find and nurture that deep, connection to God. When we make time to pray, we grow closer to God who knows us fully and loves us completely.  We belong to Jesus, and he prays to his Father on our behalf.

Blessing as we journey to Pentecost.
