Pastor’s Message: May 27, 2022

Dear Parish Family,
Christ is Risen!   Alleluia! Alleluia!

Happy Easter!

Dear Parish Family,
In the Gospel today, Jesus speaks about unity: That all may be one as you, Father, are in me, and I in you: I pray that they may be one in us, that the world may believe that you sent me. Jesus is praying for unity from His followers so that the Body might be strong and whole and that the Body may give solid and united witness to Christ Himself.
As Christians we are called to give witness to Christ by our unity of belief, worship and prayer. Let us pray that God will grant us the graces we need to cooperate with him in building peace and unity wherever we find ourselves, in our families, places of work, and in the communities we live.
Next weekend we will be celebrating the Feast of Pentecost, the first coming of the Holy Spirit to the Church. This gift of the Holy Spirit is the unifying force that binds us together as one in the Church.
Join us at the 5:00pm Mass on Sunday, June 5th. The Haitian choir will be singing.
God Bless,
Fr. Cyrus
