Pastor’s Message: May 7, 2021

Christ is Risen!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Happy Easter!
Dear Parish Family,
As we gather to celebrate the Eucharist this weekend we hear the message of Jesus, “This I command you: Love one another”.
We offer our prayers in thanksgiving to our Blessed Mother, for our own mothers who gave us the gift of life and love, and for the gift of the Eucharist which sustains us to eternal life.
On Mother’s Day we can’t help but smile as we think of moms, stepmoms, grandmothers, mothers-in-law, godmothers, and all who share motherly love. It might also bring a tear or two as we recall the memories of dear mothers who are no longer with us, or those we have not seen in many months or even years. Wherever we are this Mother’s Day, we can be comforted and uplifted by the thought of the one beautiful Mother, standing by the Cross of her Son, accepting her role as mother of us all. How can we best honor our moms? By listening to the words of our heavenly Mother, who tells us, “Do whatever he tells you.” (John 2:5)
May, is a month dedicated in a special way to the Mother of Our Lord, and the Mother of us all, the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Our First Communion children will join in procession to crown the Blessed Virgin Mary statue during the 9:00am Mass. Please join us at the Mass of your choice this weekend as we bless and celebrate all mothers.
The loveliest masterpiece of the heart of God is the love of a mother. – St. Thérèse of Lisieux
God Bless,

Christ is Risen! Alleluia! Alleluia! Happy Easter!

Dear Parish Family,
May is a month that our Church has traditionally dedicated to Our Blessed Mother Mary. But during the month of May, the Church also celebrates three solemnities. On May 16, we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord  Then, the Easter season comes to an end on May 23, Pentecost Sunday and on May 30, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. As we go through May let us take these opportunities our Church gives us to rejoice and celebrate together the goodness of our Lord!
God Bless,
Fr. Cyrus

Pastor’s Message: April 23, 2021

Christ is Risen! Alleluia! Alleluia! Happy Easter!

Dear Parish Family,

On this Good Shepherd Sunday, we celebrate the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. Pray for holy vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life, especially for our diocese, that God will raise up good shepherds in our midst. We celebrate this day to fulfill the Lord’s instruction to “Pray the Lord of the harvest send laborers into his harvest” (Mt.9:38; Lk 10:2). Please pray that young men and women hear and respond to the Lord’s call.
God Bless ,
Fr. Cyrus

Pastor’s Message: April 16, 2021

Christ is Risen! Alleluia! Alleluia! Happy Easter!

Dear Parish Family

I would like to thank you for your patience over the past several months, we have safely and efficiently welcomed you to Mass. We have adhered to the health guidelines of the state and diocese. There were many people who spent hours with me in organizing and planning to make sure that we are in compliance to the guidelines. Thank you to those individuals. Now that our capacity successfully expanded with the guidance from CDC, state and local officials and the Bishop’s office, we will eliminate the need to pre-register for Mass effective the weekend of April 24 & 25. However, this is an experiment and if the need arises, we may return to a modified sign-up system.

Please read carefully the following guidelines in order to ensure the safety and fitting environment for our worship:
1. Please make sure that when you enter and exit the church and before receiving communion to sanitize your hands. Hand sanitizers are available throughout the church.
2.     Attendance is on a first come first served basis. If the number of worshippers approaches a limit that compromises safe distancing, we will ask that you use McGrath Hall or attend Mass at a later time. Please be advised that the church is sanitized after all Masses.
3.     Face mask or face coverings is required at all times regardless of vaccination status. Please be sure to cover both your nose and mouth.
4.     Social distancing must be observed at all times. Please follow the markings on the pews.
5.     Please do not attend Mass if you are not feeling well or required to be quarantined.
May our Blessed Mother Mary intercede and hear our prayers.
In Christ Jesus our Lord,
Fr. Cyrus
